Knitting Worsted in solid color of choice (I used Dark Orchid by Red Heart Super Saver Solids)
Fun Fur (I used Lion Brand in a multi colored striping)
Size J hook
Abbreviations
ch - Chain
sc - Single crochet
dc - Double crochet
ss - Slip Stitch
Using 1 strand of each yarn together, ch 4, join with ss to make a ring.
Rnd 1: 12 sc in ring. Join to first sc with ss and ch 1.
Rnd 2: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 in next* repeat between ** around for 18 sc. Join with ss and ch 1.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 in next 2 stitches* repeat between ** around for 24 sc. Join with ss and ch 1.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 in next 3 stitches* repeat between ** around for 30 sc. Join with ss and ch 1.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 in next 4 stitches* repeat between ** around for 36 sc. Join with ss and ch 1.
Rnd 6: 1 sc in each stitch around Join with ss and ch 1.
Rnds 7 through 14: Repeat round 6. Join with ss and ch 4
Rnd 15: Ch 4 counts as first dc and ch 1. *Skip next stitch and dc in next, ch 1* Repeat between ** around, join with ss in third ch of ch 4. Ch 1.
Rnd. 16: 1 sc in each stitch and ch 1 space around. Join in first sc and end off, weave in ends.
Drawstrings:
With knitting worsted, chain 60 and end off. Make 2 and thread through the eyelet row from opposite directions
